What does the Czech presidential election mean for the USA and NATO?

The Czech Republic is a country of Emil Zátopek, Věra Čáslavská, Jaromír Jágr, Martina Navrátilová or now Jiří Procházka.

We are a country of Franz Kafka, Milan Kundera, Miloš Forman or Václav Havel.

We are a tiny country in the heart of Europe, but the birthplace of many worlds greats. Also, we are an influential actor in European and transatlantic politics.

On January 29th, we elected our new President. With 58.32 % of votes, General Petr Pavel decimated his opponent Andrej Babiš.

Due to the historic turnout of 70.25 % of eligible voters, it represents a victory by 959 000 votes in a country with 8.3 million eligible voters (total population of 10.5 million).
